Installing MySQL, Postgresql, Oracle Database 11g in Linux Mint help

    Hi all,

I am completely new to installing database platforms in Linux but I've already tried installing it in OEL and Windows 7. Anyone can suggest a good database platform to use for Linux Mint and perhaps any guide on how to install it?

If you are using Linu Mint, I suggest that you use the Ubuntu Server Guide at https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/serverguide/ and https://help.ubuntu.com/13.04/serverguide/ for instructions on how to setup databases and other server applications. Also take a look at the Debian Administrators Handbook at The Debian Administrator's Handbook .
