I had Ubuntu and Windows 8. I tried replace Ubuntu with mint and the installer crased. It showed "installer crashed, send a bug report..............." . And the bootloader is also gone, Only a Linux CLI was there instead of the OS selection menu. Now I can't go to windows and can't install mint either. help

if you have a command line interface you can still do a LOT.
what's the situation now, are you still at the command line interface or have you switched off already?
i guess the latter, so what happens when you boot?
