No Mouse or Keyboard support for Linux Mint

    Hello Everyone,

So I am new to these forms so if Im posting incorrectly like on the wrong page or something sorry about that and let me know lol.

I am having a problem with Linux Mint in general. Well, more of a problem with motherboard support. When I try to boot to the live DVD it comes up to the desktop with all drivers pretty much installed except for the mouse and keyboard drivers. Basically what Im saying here is that I cant use my mouse or keyboard in mint. Now I put this on the Mint forums on this site cause thats the main distro I use. However If I have also tried Ubuntu and OpenSuse and I get the same issue. With these results Im almost certain its a driver support issue with my mother board and Im just stumped on what to do. I tried googling it and got no luck there. As well as searching this site and still no luck. So Im posting here lol. Anyways if you can help me out with this Id love it! lol. Oh and also Ive tried a different mouse and keyboard as well as even trying PS/2 and STILL no luck.

Btw my motherboard is a Gygabyte 970A-UD3P.

    Thanks!!

    Ben

Found a posting over on Tom's Hardware someone with similar problem. Also saw on another website a issue with networking. Seems combing thru the BIOS settings is key.
