Hey, I'm really new to Linux, installed it for the first time last night and it isn't detecting any networks. How do I connect? Thanks...

You should have a Network icon, possibly in the upper right of the Desktop. Mouse over the icons to see if it is there and click on it and then select the 'Edit' option. If you can't find that , go to the Main Menu, the Mint icon usually in the lower left of the Desktop and look for the 'System Settings' option and you should see a Network option which will take you to the same screen. Enter the requested information which is usually on the wireless modem/router.
