    Adding a Public Key

First time Linux user... not sure how to follow the directions on this page:
[Forum won't let me post URL!] See below

I'm addicted to the macros on my Logitech G110 keyboard. The above page seems to know what they are talking about, but i am unsure exactly how to do the install. Doesn't seem correct to just copy everything between the -----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK----- and paste in in the terminal. Should this be first? sudo apt-key add - Do I include the Version info and the line break?

    Add the public key
    Open a terminal and run

echo '-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
    Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux)

Echo is a program that will take it's argument and write it to stdout. The '|' character is called a pipeline when used on command line and it pipes stdout to stdin. Apt-key add when used with the argument '-' will read from stdin, so, yes copy and paste everything.

    Alternatively:
    Code:
echo '-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
    Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux)

    sudo apt-key add my_key_file
The '>' character is directing stdout to a file and then apt-key will read from it. In this case it's two separate comman invocations.
