Sound and video problems after new install
Several days ago I received my new computer in which I have two hard drives. On the 1TB drive I have installed Windows 7 several days ago and all is working fine from the start.
Today I have installed the lasted version of Mint 17 (Qiana Cinnamon 64 bit) on the second 500GB drive and something is wrong with the sound. It started immediately with opening sound/music of Mint. It sounds choppy, jerky and not clear.
I played several music files from YouTube and they sound also choppy, jerky and not clear. Then I played several movie trailers and not only the sound was choppy but also the picture. The picture is like jumping from frame to frame. The same when playing movies from my drive.
I have applied all available updates. if it may hep here are my PC specifications:
Motherboard: ASUS H97M-E
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Audio:Realtek High Definition Audio
I have no external graphic card only the on board graphic card
