    Question Adding persistence to 'live"

    Hey:

Been running into some difficulties adding persistence to LM 18.3X LIVE.
First: tried to create an extended partition and for whatever reason(s) GParted wouldn't allow it. So, thought I'd just make a file/folder and label it : /casper-rw. Now, if that's correct, where do I house that folder? What I mean is, do I have to attach to/within any certain folder already established within the O.S? Is there anything else I must do when I create the casper-rw file? Oh...I just made a partition 4.8GB(1.75GB for O.S. and 3GB for casper-rw). on a 16GB pendrive. 3GB's of persistence will be enough for what I intend to do.
    THANX:

    Rick

youve been working on this for months despite there being a load of tutorials on how to set up a live distro with persistence. if you cant follow any of them use windows instead.

and why havent you gone yet? you posted this same crap on other forums (under a slightly different name)
