Installing Linux Mint 10
At the point where the user name and pw are input, looks like all files downloaded, and it says "ready when you are " However - the button which says "forward" is grayed out. No progress seems possible from here. I have installed both 10 and 11 on another machine w/o problem - any ideas?
If you have selected to either Login automatically or Require my password to login, you should be able to click Forward. If that doesn't work, not sure what the problem would be.
This might seem silly, but if you are required to enter your password twice, are you sure you didn't fat-finger a key?
Thanks for the replies ... got it to work. Forgot to mention i was forced to use unetbooten and boot from USB. it just finally worked by choosing to see boot options and then just took default - it worked.
I did have the pw correct and had it set to no password required - everything looked ok there so must have been a boot option?
Thanks again - if this gets more clear, i will repost here...
