Hi, ive just installed mint in a dual boot setup using a separate partition to windows 8. My question is I cant access the boot menu upon boot up. my wireless usb keyboard doesnt work until it boots and that prevents me choosing windows. I plugged in a corded keyboard and it allows me to choose an os. Is there a way to choose from the boot menu with a cordless keyboard. I dont think im an odd one out by using one of these?

You may want to play with legacy USB setting in your BIOS setup.
Thanks for the response, actually the usb keyboard and mouse were disable in the bios, meaning they would only work when windows, or linux was loaded.Quote:

I must say i like what ive seen so far with mint, all my hardware worked straight out of the box, which cant be said for windows 8.
