I just downloaded Linux Mint and I wanted to download Wine. I tried from the software manager but it never completed. So i tried from the wine page i copied and pasted what they told me to. I clicked on the install wine and tried to launch application with AptURL. It said cannot find package wine1.4. by the way i am a first time user.
Thank you for your help
post the result from the install if it doesn't work after that (probably just the last 10 lines or so in code brackets. look for outputs that say bad sounding stuff like "...failed")
sudo apt-get reinstall wine
I have had a lot of issues with the software manager not installing programs with Linux Mint. I don't know if it is something that I was doing or not but I found it would install every time when I used command line.
