Question I want my site to browse other sites, as a proxy

I'd like to have my linux box act as a sort of proxy, while I'm away from home. I want to go to my site on my linux box, type in an address, and have it fed through my box.

For instance, I would go to:
mywebserver.com
type in the site I want:
Google
and from where I am, the address is:
mywebserver.com

Not sure where to start, but I'm sure there's something like that out there.

Have you seen this?

http://www.phproxy.org/

Just needs Apache and PHP. Really easy to use.

Sweet, that works. Now if I could only find something that would help me with IM. Where I'm working (as a contractor) I can't get IM.

Have you considered ssh port tunnelling? I haven't done it myself that often (just once as an exercise) but it seems to be the preferred method.
