virtual pc usage

hey folks just a few questions. i recently installed vitual pc onto my laptop and i want to run linux as my os but im new to this so im not reali sure on how to install linux to my virtual pc. any help would be much appreciated

i suppoes virtual pc is a software for running different OS in one. I have use virtulal box for the same before , so considering that most options would remain same you just have to create a new virtual OS give it some HD space and mount the bootable cd or select the OS iso. Double click on the virtual OS created , it will automatically either detect the cd or boot from the iso specified. And then normal installation unless you prefer to use the live cd .
