    I deleted ~/.mozilla by accident. Is there any way to recover this or find a backup somewhere that was automatically saved? Or at least can I retrieve my bookmarks?

    If you dual boot with ms and have it there you can copy it over. Otherwise I think you've lost it.
    If you rebuild it, don't forget to backup in future.
