Memory leaking?
It's strange for me, but when I ask the system about free memory (Konsole > free) I'm always receiving answer that I barely have free RAMs. I have 1.5Gigs of DDRAM, and the situation was the same, as I have had only 512MB. What is going on?
If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

This is normal for Linux, it uses memory a little bit different than Windows. That's what your swap space is for, extra memory, the Free command also outputs the swap usage.
