Slow Linux Bluetooth
I am running debian with 2.6.22 kernel and a usb bluetooth 2.0 chip that is sending to a bluetooth 2.0 phone that is no more than 2 metres away. However when I send files (using ussp-push over obex) it seems to be very slow. My windows machine seems to send 100k over BT using the same hardware in about 2.5/3.5 seconds whereas the linux device can take as long as 15/20 seconds to send the same file.
This is fine for small files but as the file sizes increase the process becomes a little more tiresome.
Is there any obvious reason why this should be? Both machines are spec'd similarly other than their operating systems.
Thanks in advance
Joe
