    We are running:
    2.4.22-PROD #2 SMP Thu Dec 18 10:36:56 CST 2003 x86_64 unknown
    its 64bit United Linux 1.0.

Currently what happens is sometimes a script will run the rm command and end up hanging the filesystem causing the above kernel panic. If anyone is familiar with any bugs in this kernel or with xfs or has seen this error before please let me know.

    Thanks

Well, I see that your kernel is compiled without symbols... a raw stack trace doesn't help much.

In any case, though - we don't have any XFS developers here (as far as I know, at least... =) ), so I suspect you might have better luck over at the XFS mailing list:
    http://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/mail.html

Make sure to submit that oops report to them with symbols resolved, though... they might not take you seriously otherwise. ;-)
See the ksymoops program for how to do that.
