    RH8.0 DVD player trouble downloading :-(

    Hello everyone,

    I need help getting a DVD player that will work for RH8.0.

    The problem seems to be with ALSA dependencies and no matter which RPM I try they always fail because they need another plugin.

    I was wondering whether anyone who has had success in this matter could point me in the right direction .

    Why don't you install the deps first?

    You shouldn't need ALSA to play DVDs. However, try MPlayer.
