Setting up a Linux box as a firewall?
This may have been covered before. If it has, my apologies, as I've overlooked it somehow.
I've got an old "white-box" computer (1.6ghz P4, 512mb ddr, 40gb, etc) that I would like to set up as a firewall. All incoming, and outgoing traffic will go through it.
Lots of the new releases have become bloated with things I'm just not going to need. To use this box as a firewall, what do I really need to install? Which distro would be easy for a networking newb to set up?
Any, and all help is appreciated.

There are some distros that come preconfigured for use as a firewall. This page has a list of distros that may be of interest to you.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'm downloading Astaro now. I'll post back later on ease of setup, etc.
Hopefully, this won't be too painful.
