    Charge Mobile phone form a USB port.


    Hi all,

    In SuSE whenever i plug a mobile phone in USB it starts charging , but not in ubuntu or Slackware, so anybody knows what is the package/kernel configuration for this !

    No. But isn't the output of d'electrique an ACPI setting rather than a kernel function? I could be very wrong, but that would be the first place I would look. The kernel would come second though, if only because it handles ACPI
    Can't tell an OS by it's GUI

    I believe yes, because Slackware uses the huge kernel wish is configured almost against all the options, yes it can be a ACPI issue , but i didn't find a useful link to how this is done in SuSE !
