email client suggestions
Hi,
I used to use an email program called Sweetmail on my Macintosh. It had a neat feature that I would like to find in a linux email client. I could access POP email accounts and get a list of messages with their sizes, attachments, etc. **without** downloading the messages. I could then mark the ones I wanted to download, delete etc. Has anyone seen this feature in a linux email program. I have looked at Kmail and Evolution.
Thanks,
don

Welcome to the forums!

The big 3 in Linux are probably Evolution, Kmail, and Thunderbird, but there are plenty of others you could look into such as Sylpheed and Claws.oz

Oh, and here are a couple of places you can look for other email clients:
Linux App Finder | Helping find the Linux apps you need
The table of equivalents / replacements / analogs of Windows software in Linux. (Official site of the table)
Hope you can find something that will work for you.
Let us know should you have any other questions.

Thanks
Hi Ozar,
Thanks for the links. I'll check there.
At the end of your message you said "Don't PM the moderator ..." What is "PM"? If I broke one of the rules, I appologize. That was my first post to this forum.
