C programming and game design in Linux
I'm trying to create a game for Linux called 'Tux the penguin'. It's basically a 'Sonic the hedgehog' spinoff

anyways, I'm pretty much a no0b when it comes to programming, so can somebody please post some links to some C/C++ tutorials and some good Linux game engines/Linux game design tutorials?
thanks! :]

I would look at the source code for SuperTux, which is a Super Mario Brothers clone featuring Tux.

You might learn a lot from the SuperTux source
But well im not sure, do you want to learn Game Programming?
Since you might want to just ROM-Hack a old Sonic game and change to Graphics (then you can even play it on your Game-Box)
So what do you want?
Really learn to code a game?
or Mod a game?
Cheers,
Robin
