Hi there guys I was wondering if you could give this n00b a hand..

Im installing ubuntu v5.10 64 bit on my computer with these specs

AMD X2 3800+
EVGA 8800gts 640mb
2gb ram


Im getting this error when booting up

"Failed to start the X server (your graphical interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem? <Yes> <No>

Now I read about reconfiguring by typing

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg


but.... It doesn't seem to do anything and I'm strongly convinced that this is my video card.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
