do you mean iso's?

if you have the iso's that you downloaded, just open a cd burning program that will read images (nero for win and k3b for nix) Then go to burn image (or some equivilent) and select teh iso, it will be bootable. now if you want a bootable disk of a kernel that you made yourself, i think i can figure out how to do it, but its not gonna be a cakewalk.

yeah lfo has no iso at all. you completely build your system from scratch hence the name Linux From Scratch( http://lfs.osuosl.org/lfs/news.html )
so you just get a bunch of files and what not and you have to turn it into a distro of your own. it is the ultimate distro for a linux geek
i would love to try it but i was to lazy to get gentoo running with gui so i would probably be to lazy for this too. i will keep my eyes open for this tool that will do this for you
edit: this looks kind of promising http://www.linux-live.org/ <-- scripts that do it for you
