    Bad news
    It turns out those distros need 4 MB RAM... The laptop has 1 MB RAM
    Any ideas?

    when you tried them, did they not work at all? if you have hd space, but dont use it, just make it all swap, then open your editor, and save to a floppy, your in shape.

    geeze... your laptop must be like that one in that dell commercial with the first IBMs from like 80's the size of a suitcase. lol

    I remember Windows 3.1....perhaps the only working version of Windows, without IE, and all.

    Win 3.11, back in the good old days when everyone new that Windows was just a fancy (empty) GUI shell ran over DOS, now they've done everything to hide it...

    Well, I decided not to go through the trouble of installing Linux
    It might run better, but I might as well screw up the computer.

    And you're right. It's the only Windows version that actually works.
    Okay, it doesn't do anything, but it works :P
