    After using liveCDs for a while, you'll find lots of other limitations using them, too, such as slow bootups, difficulties saving data, wear & tear on the CD/DVD drive, scratched/damaged disks, etc.

    Yep, other than emergency and recovery operations, that's certainly all I'd ever use them for, but I do believe there are a few people out there using them as general distros, at least for brief periods of time. Not for me, though.

    what would you say is the easiest distro to learn? because im getting annoyed with windows now
    (tell me if i should make this a new thread and where it should go)
