    Well, I would like good performance. But I must admit that the bashing of VMWare was a little... unexpected.

    Heh!

    You could try VirtualBox. We run various test machines on it at
    work. We use a Windows XP Host. I don't know if it would work
    on Vista.

    I intend to use the Linux version to mess with some other
    Linux distros without seriously risking everything
