    ok thanks sry i googled it and this is 1 of the sites i got so i figured it was recent but which 1 do i download i have suse and it doesnt have a suse version?

    If you use SuSE, just open up YaST and search for "Gaim" and install it...

    Definitely try gaim - you can use your old aim SN on it. I use gaim on both my linux & windows machines.
