Hello I am taking Linux + course and need some help. I need to write a shell script for daily email to the administrator if the backup fails or errors out. I do not know where to start and was hoping for someone to help with me with where I can get some helpful information. Websites, books, articles,etc..
I would really appreciate it. I hope I put this under the right thread.

I do not respond to Private Messages asking for Linux help. Please, keep it on the public boards.

Thanks
