    Mandrake 10.0 bootsplash

I'd like to have bootsplash working with Mandrake 10.0. I enabled it, and my font changes depending on what I choose in DrakeSplash. There's the Mandrake logo in the upper left right after lilo starts booting, but once the text get's to the bottom of the screen, it pushes it off.

What I'd like is something where I can switch between the Mandrake boot screen (below) and text mode?

I've tried to install other splash screens. They install without error, but they don't show up in draksplash. The (one) theme that is in draksplash doesn't work either!

How do I get this to work?
    Thanks,
