Best way to zero-fill unused space?
What would be the best way to zero-fill all the free space on a partition? I want to do this because regularly I back up my system partitions as image files, after defragmenting and free-space-wiping them first. I want to have the unused space filled with zeroes because I compress the image files, and a bunch of zeroes compress wery well.
