Linux on Sun Fire v240?
Dear all!
My objective is to Run VMware on Sun Fire v240 machine. It currently has Solaris 10 on it which doesn't have any VMware available for it.
I wonder if i can install any Flavour of Linux on this sparc machine.... Than VMWare is available for linux....
ANyone have any idea if this thing can work??? and which linux flavours support Sun Sparc platforms??

You can get a Sparc build of Linux - such as Debian, but there is no VMWare for Sparc.
VMWare emulates X86 hardware and does not run on Sparc processors.
Google and VMWare's docs will tell you anything you need to know.
