How to backup linux with installed windows XP
Hi, I have first installed windows xp on C/hda1/.
Then I installed ubuntu on hda3, hda2 is swap.
I use grub as bootmanager.
How to backup ubuntu and windows and also grub?
Will it be possible using some boot cd, without getting to any system?

Welcome to the forums!

You can use a liveCD such as Clonezilla, Ghost4Linux, etc., to create partition images that can be easily restored. You can also use the dd command should you wish to work from the command line. Check here for more options.
...or if you want to use Windows, you can use Acronis TrueImage or Norton Ghost to do the same type of operation(s).oz
