Hello and Welcome!
The UNIX benchmark tests are pretty much a way of comparing one OS to another in terms of basic performance, usually on identical hardware.
lps stands for 'lines per second'. Most likely (I may be wrong here) a CPU performance test. For any info on the test results, just Google it, and here's a link for some further info on the acronyms: Linux DictionaryJay

Thanks a lot for your response, but I have already lost hope, that anybody knows the answer
I looked for it in the source code and found out that "lps" means "loops per second". It's difficult to find any information about unixbench in the web, as it's pretty old...
