**Linux Command / App Spit Out Heavy Disk Writing Processes**
I currently have an process is running on my CentOS 5.x server that constantly writing to the hard drive at around and above 1.00 mb/sec+. I want to find this process name or pid and terminate it.
Resource display's like top, htop, iostat ect cannot help me with this issue as they either do not display the information I am looking for, or don't tell how much each application is using.
Would anyone know how I could find the process(s) that are writing to the disk heavily? Something like top or htop but instead of % cpu or % memory, a number representing the amount of data being constantly written. Just something to allow me to find that high writing process.
Thanks ahead of time!
