help with moving files
i recently installed java but it installed into my documents rather than in the /usr/java folder. Because the usr folder is read only, so i cannot copy it into there any ideas on how i can move it please?

Have you tried moving files as root? Which distribution are you using/

I suggest you install java using the package manager for your distro ... that should put java in the correct location ... which maybe /opt/java.
