System resources : how to obtain stats or history ?
Hello,
is it possible to obtain resources figures (ie. memory & swap usages) for a (pre-defined) period to obtain stats or history ?
I would like to check figures during some long (few hours) installation process of specific applications in my company.
Tools like 'top' or 'free' are great but give (as far as I know..) only a 'picture' of the status.
Probably other tools allow to trace an history ?
Thanks,
Bruno

Indeed 'dstat' (and the related plugins) can perfectly do the job.
Thanks.
