    Redhat 9

    I would like to learn Linux. I got Redhat 9 a week ago. Is this a good starting point for a newbie or would you recommend any other distro for learning Linux?

    What are your general thoughts on Redhat 9.

    RedHat 9 is a very good distro. I have been using it for a year along with Windows XP. No problems. After learning for a while, I can now do everything in RH 9 that I did in Win XP.
    Installation is easy, the GUI is very nice and most common software is bundled with the distro.
