I cannot restore terminal Window
Hey good people, I'm having a slight problem with my Terminal window. When I open Terminal, it starts normally but when I try to click the maximize/restore button to make it smaller, it only resizes about one half inch smaller. I can maximize it just fine, and this only happens with Terminal. If I want to resize it smaller I have to manually resize it every time. Kinda annoying. Any Ideas?

Is there some kind of rc file in $HOME where you could write in the geometry you want?

I don't know about you fancy-shmancy kde3 jockeys...but down here on little old fluxbox there's an option to make the window remember prior states and save on exit.
Perhaps therein lies the source of your unhappiness?
Just playing with you about KDE Mike, don't take me too seriously.

I haven't tried playing with rc files yet, but even if I launch Terminal from the command line using Terminal --geometry=81x15 &, it launches at the right size but still does not restore but for about a half inch. Crazy. Maybe it's just a Gentoo/Terminal bug, any other Gentoo users have this problem?
HAHA, yeah, I know you're a secret gnome fanboy. ( Don't worry I won't tell anyone)
