I bought a copy of linux format magazine a few months ago and that had a copy of a run off the cd distro. All you need is a CD ROM. Email me your postal address and I'll send you a copy. That should solve that problem. But most versions of linux will install safely without any trouble in a dual boot environment. How small is your harddisk i take it you meant 13Gb not 13Mb. You should be able to scrounge a harddisk big enough for linux. I think you could run a reasonable distro on about 4 GB. Just to get you started. and in terms of partitioning that is very simple. New hard disk and then don't mess with the partition which is formatted to FAT and probably labelled WIN. Good luck. And let me know if you want that cd.
