free cd?
does anyone know where i can get a free linux cd? i am verry interested in the linux operating system and want to install it onto a separate pc, but i do not have a cd burner or a high-speed connection, and help would be much appreciated.

In that case it might be a bit hard. Check you local public library; some of the linux for dummies and similar books come with Linux installation CDs (remember that the library might have removed the CD to prevent theft; in that case you can usually ask for it). If that doesn't work, try a local university or other school, and see if they can provide it for you. If you put your words right, they are usually up for those things.
