its like 2.6 or something...i just installed the system about a month or so ago from a liveCD. is the primary IDE hdd supposed to be something other than HDA?

(one is ide /dev/hda while the other is sata /dev/sda the sata is the root.)

also im running debian lenny (seems i forgot to mention my distro) should have the newest kernel.
