    Hmmm.... I don't want to bother you any longer. You're right, the manpages and google should be enough... But as a Linux-newbie those things are bit confusing, altough they're easy in fact....

    Just a last question: If I type "locale -a" and it says just "c" and "POSIX", this means that I wasn't successful with compiling my de_CH?

    I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
    It probably means that you didn't get them installed in the correct locale (sic).
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
