hi
i tried to add a linux based secondry dns server in my existing windows 2000 server environment........i have added the slave configuration in named.conf , but it did'nt worked.........it did'nt created the zone files that should be created automatically in /var/named.........plz tell me the correct
configurations that has to be done in named.conf for setting up slave server..........and how do i check whether my settings are right ot not......is there any log file for dns......plz help me its urgent

I dunno what's wrong, but check your /var/log/messages for the logging output.
