    GNU/GPL question

    This is not directly related to linux...however I figured I would ask the experts on GNU/GPL.

    Are you allowed to make money using software licened under the GNU/GPL license as long as your not selling the software to someone? I was planning on using PHP-Nuke to power a website that will be making a profit...does anyone have any knowlage in this area?

    I will be posting in the PHP-Nuke forums as well...however I wanted to hear from non-bias party too.
