    Cannot find linux filesystem, dropping you to a (very) limited shell

    I'm trying to install a cd on my computer for my job and I get the msg above,what next.

    Also they said the msg above is known to be shown on Dell 530s that what I have and its a Window Vista

    Did you reboot the machine with the CD in the drive or something? What type of program are you trying to install?

    It sounds like you're dropping to a busybox shell.

    What distro are you trying to boot? Is this after the install or from the live CD (assuming you're using a live CD)?
