mounting question
I guess I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to Linux and I finally figured out how to automount both secondary hardrives and network shares. My question is, for the network share (a QNAP file server), is there a "better" place to mount the drive? I've had it mounted in both /mnt and /media but I like the fact that it shows up as a drive when in /media. Is there any reason I shouldn't have it in /media since it isn't physically on my computer?
thanks!

As far as I am aware there is no reason not to mount it in /media. If you prefer mounting it there then do so.
