I feel confident I can use linux to do most things... including this Engine management system I'm trying to piece together and jerry rig on a older diesel. Want to tune it Via blue tooth from my phone/PDA/Laptop.
I am running in to the wall of not knowing a lot on Diesels, EMS I can work through by using what I know (sensors, programming etc.)

Also this way I could tie it in to my stereo so I can have all my music out and about, or rig it up to connect to the net via bluetooth with my phone to check new e-mails and use the stereo to play my voicemail etc.

Would anyone have any suggestions of things to add or better methods to do what I am thinking?
