gift problem

i get this whenever i try to run gift

ok, complealy out of nowhere when i run giftd now i get this.

I dont want your post to go completely unanswered, I have not really spend much time working with gift, never really botherd, but when i gave it a try similar errors, but you need to look at the last part, the one that says it can't write to a dir, its because gift doesnt make one during the install, make that directory, and add the required files (i fiugred it out but just working backwords throught the error messages, but I havent gotten past them yet), I hope to have more for you, but give that a shot

thanks for the answer. ill try that. right now im trying to get epsxe to work. kinda stuck but im going. if you know any good howtoos for my distro could you post it please. i realy apriciat the response though

ok i lied, i had about ten minuets before school so i decided to try it out. i got genulla working but openft and fastrack didnt. eventualy i ended up removing all gift instalations and renstalling it and using a different client. giftui. befor i was using appolon but i use gnome and wanted to use something made for it. i eventualy got it working but im not shure how to put in where i want it to put the finifhed files i repaced the line in the config file with

/home/share

i also created the file. it doesnt put it there for some reason though. i want it to.
