    net send

    Hi all-

I know of the NET SEND utility in Windows that can be used to message other machines. Is there something similar for Linux (specifically Ubuntu 7.04)? If it can send messages across different OSes as well, that'd be optimal.

    Thanks,
    D

How does one determine the NetBIOS-computer-name??? Is there a way I can tell it to send packets based on IP address?

    Thanks for the help.
