I have 2 OS's on my desktop: Windows XP & Linux with GRUB installed in the Linux partition. I have a multi OS boot loader (GAG) installed in the MBR. I've noticed when I've had to restore a partition using Clonezilla from a backup I created with Clonezilla the Partition Boot Record/Sector (not the MBR) does not get restored. This is not a problem with Linux as I can run GRUB from a bootable CD/DVD & fix the problem. I'm at a loss as to how to fix Windows. Is there some setting in Clonezilla I'm missing or does the PBR backup need done outside of Clonezilla?
